Quick-change is a performance art in which a performer usually a dancer changes quickly within a split second from one costume into another costume in front of the audience. This is usually performed under cover of an object like standing in a hoop of fabric Mylar curtained hoop, behind an umbrella, large feather fans, stage smoke or even shower of glitter. Choreography and dance are usually combined into the performance to make the act more spectacular.
